Top 20 Favorite Serial Killer Films of All-Time

This list requires an introduction.  Most of the Geekster's lists are thought up by interactions with IMDb posters.  This one is no exception; however, the Geekster did make some changes to the influenced conversation—specifically, he chose his favorite films that involved a fictional serial killer, as oppose to the discussion's topic of comprising a list of characters (i.e. Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lector, while the Geekster instead put The Silence of the Lambs).

One other thing: a serial killer film can be very subjective.  Certain movies can have some sort of loose involvement or reference to a character that is (or accused of being) a serial killer, but doesn't necessarily fit the tone when discussing films that have some sort of serial killer connection.  This list is for viewers who may be seeking something along the lines of this sub-genre of horror or thriller, and to include something like Batman Begins, Barton Fink, There's Something About Mary or V for Vendetta can be considered misleading.
